Photos from Day 1 of the 2009 Nationals.
Competition began at noon. First photos were: euphonium in Hall 4; the Under 15 cornets in Hall 3; Masters in Hall 1. Then it was scurry back to the Office in case results were in and due on the web. I used the audience in the foreground to mask use of the camera.
In the evening was the Official Opening, then the Simon Hocking Invitation Slow Melody.
